Jules Audy, nicknamed the "Blond Flash", was born in either 1911 or 1912, depending on what source you believe. He was a professional six-day bicycle racer; his career lasted from 1931 to 1950, with time out to serve in World War II.
During his career, he participated in 110 six-day races and won 14 of them. When he stopped racing, he moved to Chicago and became a judge in cycling competitions, which seems a logical thing for a former cyclist to do.
