Carolin Babcock (1912-1987) won the U.S. Open women's doubles tennis title in 1936. She was the U.S. Open women's singles runner-up in 1932 and the runner-up in women's doubles in 1934, 1935, and 1937. She ended her tennis career when she married Richard Salisbury Stark in 1937.
