Francis X. Bushman

Francis X. Bushman (1883-1966) was a bodybuilder as a young adult, which led to him being cast in more than 175 films between 1911 and 1920. He was billed as "The Handsomest Man In The World".
In 1929, Bushman lost the money he had earned from movies in the stock market crash. From 1938 to 1945, he appeared in the radio soap opera Those We Love. In the 1950s and 1960s, he appeared regularly on television. His last role was in a two-part episode of Batman in 1966.
