
Joseph Robert "Bob" Coulter (1913-2006), after graduation, played quarterback for the Toronto Argonauts in 1936, 1940, and 1941. He was a teacher at North Toronto Collegiate Institute from 1936 to 1954 and was a pilot during World War II. In 1958, he became headmaster of St. Andrew's College in Aurora, where he remained until he retired in 1974.
The University of Toronto Varsity Blues Hall of Fame has an entry on Coulter - he was inducted in 1990.
