Lia Eibenschütz

When I searched for information, I discovered that the Daily Star got names confused. I could find no architect named Lia Eibenschutz, but I did find Lia Eibenschütz (1899-1985), who was a German actress who appeared in a number of movies in the 1920s and then after the war. And I found a picture of her which clearly matches the one in the photograph above.
So what happened? My best guess is that the Daily Star editor (or, more likely, a wire services editor) confused Lia Eibenschütz with somebody else. For a bit, I thought it was Polish architect Tomasz Mańkowski, also known as Tomasz Eibenschütz, but he was born in 1928, so it couldn't be him. I'm not able to figure out who it was.
