Viviane Ortmanns

Viviane Ortmanns, as she was known at the time of this photograph, appears to have been halfway through a name change - she was born Pauline Ronacher Ortmanns and eventually became Viviane Romance. She made a number of films in France and Italy in the 1930s and 1940s, rejecting a Hollywood contract. She passed away in 1991.
