Jean Parker (1915-2005) appeared in 70 films between 1932 and 1966, though most were before 1945. She married four times, and seems to have lived a relatively scandal-free life - unless you count the time that she was evicted from Bondi Beach in Australia in 1951 by swimsuit inspector Abe Laidlaw because her bikini was too small.
Which leads to the question: how did Mr. Laidlaw become a swimsuit inspector? What are the qualifications for such a job? The Independent has an article (safe for work) on toplessness on Australia's beaches that mentions him: apparently, Aub Laidlaw (as he is referred to in the article) removed 50 people a week from Bondi Beach until he retired in 1969.
