Arleen Whelan

Arleen Whelan (1916-1983) was working as a manicurist in Southern California before she was discovered and cast in Kidnapped (1938). Her film career lasted until 1957. She was married and divorced three times; her Wikipedia page states that she married her second husband before she divorced her first one, which presumably didn't actually happen. I couldn't find any noteworthy events or scandals that she was involved in.
