This showed up in my YouTube feed the other day. According to the comments, the woman in the video is Anna Karina (1940-2019), who was filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard's wife and muse in the early 1960s. Besides being an actress, she was a model, a singer, a writer, and a director.
The Dead Beats were from Davidsonville, Maryland. This appears to have been their only single release; as far as I can tell, it did not chart. I kind of liked it - it's low-fi garage rock.
