This is one of a number of one-hit wonders from the early 1970s that feature British singer Tony Burrows. The others are White Plains, Edison Lighthouse, and The First Class. They all pretty much sound the same: catchy early 1970s-style pop.
Brotherhood Of Man was actually two separate vocal groups with the same name. The first iteration was a changing lineup of session singers, including Burrows. In 1970, they released "United We Stand", which reached #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and went Top 10 in the UK, Australia, and Canada. Their followup, "Where are You Going to My Love", went to #22 in the UK and #61 on the Billboard chart but did not receive any airplay in Toronto.
In 1974, a new Brotherhood Of Man lineup was formed. Between 1976 and 1977, the new configuration had three #1 hits in the UK, including "Save Your Kisses for Me", which won the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest and sold over six million copies worldwide. They continued recording and releasing singles until 1983; their last single had the wistful title "When the Kissing Stops".
